Great food! The fried potatoes are a highlight, as is the matjes. Although the kitchen was actually closed, we were served very nicely. Top!

This was our first time at the Rufers. The location with a terrace right on the Elbe is great. The food was good, not great, but ok. We were served kindly! Negative points, unfortunately, for crockery chipped in several places (it just doesn't look really nice to be served the food) and the interior. The way to the toilet through a stairwell was very unsympathetic and the toilets, including the vestibule, were rather worn and not entirely clean. There is still a lot of potential to come back with pleasure.

The service is fast and the girl who attended us was very friendly. always with a smile on his face. 👍

Relaxing atmosphere

Unfortunately the food was inedible for us: the wedges hard and sour, the meatball bad and the sauce weird too. The matjes fillet and the fried potatoes alone were ok, but until then we were in a bad mood. I don't know if it's only like this today, but we were really disappointed. Otherwise the service was nice, but our criticism afterwards found rather deaf ears. It's a shame because the location is really great.

It was delicious and the service was friendly. A small mistake in the main course was handled very accommodatingly. We'd love to come back 👍😎

So far one of our favorite restaurants ... unfortunately you can tell immediately from the quality of the food that there has been a change of ownership. The previously creative and delicious cuisine has given way to a boring and unseasoned meal with the cheapest ingredients, a shame ... 2 stars for the still super nice service!

Cycled from Tesperhude to Lauenburg. Got a draft beer and enjoyed the view over the Elbe. I remember that some years ago I was there and got chanterelles in cream sauce.

It tasted very good, the cook deserves a lot of praise. The service was also very friendly and courteous. The seats outside are our favorite. We come more often when we are in the area. Keep it up! Thank you!

Here we got two delicious main dishes shortly before the kitchen closed. Delicious food, super nice service. Gladly again! ;-)

Very nicely located restaurant with great outdoor area and view of the Elbe. Directly at the pier of the excursion boats. Here you can comfortably end the city tour. The coffee tastes very good - and only the cake. Super.

We were close and hunger drove us to Rufrier. Small, clear map, which is often already for better quality, was very appealing to us. Unfortunately, everything was not available anymore. Is in itself completely legitimate. If you want to eat fresh, you have to live with it, that if it's all, it's all. We just wanted to know it before we decided. The service-very friendly and tried but unfortunately a bit overwhelmed with the patio, so that we were forgotten from time to time and had to wait a little longer here and there. Food was as expected delicious. Only the quiche is pretty salted, hence the point deduction. Great view. Nice service. Honest food. Recommended! And gladly again. P.S. The ice recommendation hit the black. The pistachio ice cream was terrific. I have never eaten it so delicious

Very nice pub!

Nice terrace right on the Elbe, very friendly and fit service, and then this phenomenal cake, super delicious and also nice to look at, combined with something else, fantastic. Very good coffee. The baked sheep's cheese deliciously seasoned with herbs and also something for the eye. Cozy ambience inside. A place to think about for a long time and hopefully come again. We had a perfect basis for body and soul to continue cycling.

Good location, good view over River Elbe, friendly owner and staff, tasty and healthy foods, current new name is only "Rufer".

Unfriendly personnel and very bad service. After waiting about 40 min somebody to take our order we left.

Friendly &cheaper than some

Had a wonderful breakfast at a very reasonable price.

Tasty food towards to spectacular view. Nice and calm place.
